Synthesis or Revolution

When “thesis” and “antithesis” collide, then there is either a “synthesis” or a “revolution”. The collision can happen in any area of activity. If it happens in the sphere of culture and politics, then the philosophers and politicians, who want the status quo to continue, have to work out a synthesis between the thesis and antithesis. They have to achieve a synthesis between the old holy cause and the new holy cause. There will always be philosophers and politicians who will want a total transformation. They might be convinced that a better life was possible—or they could be alienated from their society. Such philosophers and politicians will not be patient and tolerant. They will try to ignite a revolution which will grant them the power to shape the future.
